About Me
Lalo Garcia
Photographer / FAA Licensed Drone Pilot
My career in visual storytelling began in 2000, working in Washington, DC for the newspaper publication USA Today, where tight deadlines and high standards were simply part of the job. That fast-paced photojournalism environment shaped how I work today—focused, dependable, and always ready to deliver.
Over the years, my work has been recognized with numerous awards, including an Emmy for a story produced while I was living and working in Austin, Texas. After more than 20 years in photojournalism and extensive travel, I took the leap in 2006 to build my own photography company—bringing that same level of professionalism, creativity, and reliability directly to my clients.

Today, I specialize in event coverage, professional headshots, and drone services, all of which I genuinely enjoy. Whether I’m covering a conference, creating polished headshots, or flying a drone, I love meeting new people, collaborating with teams, and capturing images that feel authentic and engaging. I’m supported by a network of seasoned photography associates who share my high standards and a strong work ethic.
My wife Dora and I look forward to learning about your project, creating a thoughtful proposal, and working with you and your team. I can’t imagine a better way to spend my day.
